Cool Reflective Paint Project 1

As part of this project an Anganwadi (Farmer family child care), village and a Gaushala shed in Veharakhadi village roof was painted using reflective cool paint. Thermal images were taken with infrared (IR) thermal imaging camera. These data have been used to evaluate the reduction of heat stress in the cattle and relevant benefits. After technoeconomic analysis of the implementation, it was observed that there was temperature reduction of up to 12 ᵒC in the roofing sheets and there is apparent increase in the milk production (10 litres per day among XX cattle’s).
